Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using any part of the nilbox service ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email at least 7 days in advance. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. Description of Service

nilbox provides an application store and related tools that allow users to discover, install, and run applications within isolated virtual machine environments. The Service includes the nilbox desktop application, the application store at store.nilbox.run, and any APIs or associated services.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

4. Account Responsibilities

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must notify us immediately at privacy@nilbox.run if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.
• You may not share, transfer, or sell your account to another person.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation.
• Distribute malware, viruses, or other harmful software.
• Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' accounts or system infrastructure.
• Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited communications.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service except as permitted by law.

6. User-Submitted Content

If you publish applications or other content to the nilbox store, you represent that:

• You own or have the right to distribute the content.
• The content does not violate any third-party rights or applicable laws.
• The content does not contain malicious code or functionality.

nilbox reserves the right to remove any content that violates these Terms without prior notice.

7. Intellectual Property

The nilbox name, logo, and all related software and content are the property of nilbox and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use nilbox trademarks or branding.

8. Disclaimers

nilbox does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from harmful components.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, nilbox shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service, even if nilbox has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

10. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting privacy@nilbox.run. nilbox reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice.

11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Seoul Central District Court (서울중앙지방법원), Republic of Korea.

If you are located in the European Union, you may also have the right to bring a claim before your local courts as required by applicable EU consumer protection law.
